Paul Tonna Son of Santu Ltd traces its roots to Mr Santu Tonna, an early Maltese importer and supplier of ironmongery goods. His son, Mr Paul Tonna, later established an ironmongery shop in Rabat, where the next generation became involved in the family business.

Driven by a passion for glasswork, Mr Mario Tonna began custom glass cutting in a small garage beneath his home. As demand grew, the business expanded its premises, glass stock and machinery to introduce services including polishing and bevelling.

In 2003, the company moved to its present factory in Mrieħel. Today, Paul Tonna Son of Santu Ltd combines decades of experience with modern glass-processing equipment for cutting, drilling, polishing, bevelling, tempering, laminated and insulating glass, mirrors, shower enclosures and custom architectural applications. Mario’s four children continue the family tradition in the business, serving residential and commercial customers across Malta.
